About US
Connecting Culture, Creativity and Opportunity
More About Us
Ubuntu Mosaic Ventures Australia is a commercially sustainable, purpose-led business founded on the Ubuntu principle that individual wellbeing is inseparable from community wellbeing. The word “Mosaic” reflects the diverse cultures, talents, industries and communities that come together through our work, while “Ventures” represents our broad and growing portfolio of commercial and community-focused activities.
Our business connects Australia and Africa through ethical fashion, cultural products, modelling, arts, training, business development and practical lifestyle services. We seek reciprocal partnerships with businesses, artists, community agencies and Indigenous-led organisations, ensuring that collaboration is respectful, transparent and mutually beneficial.
We generate income through the sale of products and services, reinvest in business growth, remunerate workers and partners fairly, and direct resources and capabilities towards initiatives that expand opportunity for marginalised communities. Our long-term ambition is to demonstrate that enterprise can be profitable, culturally respectful and socially transformative.
Mission
To transform culture, creativity and community knowledge into sustainable enterprises, employment pathways and practical services that improve lives across Australia and Africa.
We create culturally grounded products, services and opportunities through fashion, modelling, creative industries, enterprise development and community-centred lifestyle services. We collaborate with Australian and African businesses, artists, community organisations and Indigenous partners to build skills, create employment, strengthen community capability and advance social and economic inclusion.
We envision a future in which culture, creativity and enterprise connect Australia and Africa, enabling marginalised and Indigenous communities to build dignified livelihoods, exercise economic self-determination and thrive.
